Music Aina means “Music Land”
in Hawaiian Language.
Music Aina was developed to offer ukulele and piano lessons and family music movement classes designed for newborns through 9 year olds in a loving and encouraging environment. The goal is to help learners to develop their natural musicality and create cheerful time while embracing the love and soothing essence of music.
WHY MUSIC AINA?
The cultivation of singing, movement, and playing instruments not only enriches one’s musical intelligence but also enriches the soul and enhances relationships and connections among others.
Having the ability to play and appreciate music is like having a life-long friend who is always there for you.
Music nurtures self-contentment, self-esteem, confidence, emotional development, and boosts family bonding. As Aristotle said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
My approach with Music Aina:
– Respect each individual’s differences
– Supply age appropriate materials and continually adjust to meet learners’ abilities and wishes
– Provide in-person and online lessons with care and support that work best for you
– Help both young children through adults to build musical bonding and find the most suitable and enjoyable classes
